Today I went to my local Shaw’s in Franklin MA all of the freirich thick cut corned beef was Market as flat. I asked the meat department if he could please check if that was right I was told that the thick cut corned beef if flat it’s all about how you cook the item. I’m sorry but that’s not the right answer.
1 thick cut it’s the fattier end of the brisket
2 thick it’s not flat
3 how you cook the corned beef don’t determine flat or (thick “point”)
4 I left without my corned beef and toke my business somewhere else
5 I usually spent between $100-$150 a week in that store always have to help begging. Costumers service at the particular location very lousy. I from this day forward will go to S&S or even big Y. If I’m doing a really big shopping I will take my business over the border into Bellingham and go to Market Basket. Sorry Shaw’s but that’s a easy way to cheat the costumers who don’t know much about meat.
